This session explores avenues of cooperation between Arab and European cities in areas such as cultural exchange, climate change, sustainable development, economic growth, and city diplomacy, as a means to address shared challenges.
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Exploring and presenting the tangible technical outcomes and indirect benefits of such partnerships and cooperation, such as capacity building, economic opportunities, and the strengthening of cultural relations.
- Highlighting the common challenges faced in city-to-city cooperation and offering valuable tips and identifying key elements to make these partnerships more effective.
- Discussing how networks and associations can play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing city-to-city cooperation.
